Job Summary

Full‑time local Class A CDL truck driver based in Tracy, CA. Average salary $85,000 per year with a driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral. Requires chaining experience.

• Deliver products to stores throughout Northern California and the Reno area.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Average 20 deliveries per week.

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required (current or obtainable).
• 1 year of documented tractor‑truck experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Must follow all federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Work the required schedule and location, complete the Penske employment application, and consent to a background investigation and drug screening.
• Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and protect one’s own safety and that of others.

• Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Job requires frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands to handle and feel objects.
• May need to lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
