Overview

Ryder is hiring Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handlers in Tracy, CA.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly. Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour. Multiple Schedules Available.

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team; capable of working in a diverse environment.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision; shows initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; able to stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work on various shifts and schedules; health and safety-aware.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
