Material Handler
Order Picker / Cherry Picker
Location:
Tracy, CA Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
A Day in the Life:
- Receive, store, and distribute materials or products
- Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and cherry pickers
- Maintain inventory accuracy and documentation using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and placement
- Conduct quality control activities to maintain product standards
- Coordinate with team members and other departments for efficient workflow
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or a related field
- Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (e.g., order pickers, forklifts)
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and order pickers
- Able to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment and safely handle materials
- Able to work in varying warehouse temperatures
- Work is performed in a warehouse/distribution center setting
- May be exposed to noise from equipment and machinery
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and eye protection is required
- Fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines
