Outbound Warehouse Manager – 1st Shift

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
• Provide guidance to supervisors regarding personnel, quality and safety
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively
• Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with company standards
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
• Recommend programs to improve operations
• Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed timely
• Adhere to and enforce safe work practices and ensure OSHA and other standards/regulations compliance

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience with computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Quality experience
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience
• Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer

Demonstrates expertise in quality management, continuous improvement, and safety compliance within warehouse operations. Proven ability to lead teams, manage personnel, and implement effective training and development programs.
