As a Power Line Technician with Fortis

BC, you'll be responsible for your trades qualifications and report to a supervisor. Key tasks will include standby duties, assisting in training new hires, and performing lower classification duties as necessary. You will become part of a diverse team committed to a safer energy future for British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standby duties as assigned

• Assist in training apprentices and new employees

• Carry out tasks of lower classifications when needed

Requirements:

• Hold a Journeyman Powerline Technician Certificate

• Experience with electric utility systems and safety devices

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement
