Cement Mason Journeyperson Operations

Teck is looking for a skilled Cement Mason Journeyperson to enhance our Trail Operations team in British Columbia. This on-site role involves concrete finishing, safety leadership, and masonry work.

In this position, you will be integral to Teck's Trail Operations, focusing on various concrete and masonry tasks. You will be responsible for preparing and finishing concrete surfaces while strictly adhering to safety protocols. Strong interpersonal communication is key to this role, ensuring team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and lead safety and environmental compliance

• Finish poured concrete surfaces with a variety of tools

• Prepare concrete sites by leveling and clearing debris

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and instructions

• Install joints and anchors with Hilti epoxy solutions

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Cement Mason Certification required

• Experience in industrial maintenance is advantageous

• Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Valid driver's license necessary
