Teck is actively seeking an experienced Apprentice Pipefitter to join our team at Trail Operations. Candidates need to have completed a Pipefitter/Plumber Foundation course or be indentured as an apprentice. Working independently or collaboratively, you will be responsible for repairing piping systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety initiatives and adhere to environmental procedures
• Repair and maintain complex piping systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks
• Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion with certification
• Completion of Pipefitter/Plumber Foundation course
• Currently indentured as an apprentice pipefitter
• Journeyperson Plumber status is considered
• WHMIS certification is an asset
This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and technical training at Teck’s Trail Operations.
