What You'll DoAs a Territory Sales Representative, you'll manage and grow a sales territory by developing relationships with contractors, builders, concrete professionals, and construction companies.
Responsibilities- Growing sales within an assigned territory through prospecting, networking, and relationship building
- Calling on contractors, builders, developers, and construction professionals
- Conducting regular customer visits and jobsite visits to identify upcoming project opportunities
- Providing product recommendations, pricing, and construction material solutions
- Preparing quotes, following up on bids, and closing sales opportunities
- Developing new business while expanding existing customer accounts
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate deliveries and exceptional customer service
- Monitoring local construction activity, competitor offerings, and market opportunities
- Representing Concrete Central at industry events, trade shows, contractor associations, and networking functions
- Experience in outside sales, territory sales, contractor sales, construction sales, building materials sales, industrial sales, or related industries
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow customer accounts
- Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Understanding of construction projects, jobsite operations, and contractor needs
- Ability to read blueprints or construction plans is a plus
