A Day in the Life

• Supports and assists lead teacher in all aspects of classroom management and the daily schedule.
• Responsible for the daily planning and execution of all classroom and outdoor activities for the group. Lesson plans will be prepared on a weekly basis with one copy posted in the classroom for parents, and one copy turned in to the Coordinator.
• Supervises meal times, toileting procedures, and inside and outside activities for children in the classroom.
• Attends all staff meetings, parent conferences (as needed), and ongoing training.
• Clean and organize the center as needed.
• Responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of children in the assigned group, responding to needs, questions, and concerns of parents and children in an effective and timely manner.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Experience in the child development field preferred.
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
