Full Year Guest Teacher (Building Substitute)

Central High School, Traverse City, Michigan – Full‑time, Monday through Friday, for the 2026/27 school year. Pay $25.35 per hour. Two positions available.

Full‑year guest teachers will provide day‑to‑day instructional support at Central High School, reporting every instructional day and receiving assignments via the Will Sub system. If no coverage is required on a given day, teachers will report to the building administrator for guidance on other support needs within the building, including special‑education aide assignments when required. Teachers may also be asked to travel to other TCAPS building locations as needed.

• Conduct day‑to‑day instructional assignments at Central High School and other TCAPS buildings.
• Report to the building administrator or school secretary for instructional guidance.
• Provide special‑education aide support as required.

• Minimum of 60 credit hours earned at a college, university, or community college.
• Hold or obtain a day‑to‑day substitute permit through the Michigan Department of Education.
• Citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa is required.
