Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for applications, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in the selection, testing, and deployment of new manufacturing technologies.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Train end-users on new applications and system functionalities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative technical solutions.
- Experience with a specific CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA)
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether
CAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP) - Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., Ansys, COMSOL, Rockwell Arena)
- Proficiency in a scripting language for automation (e.g., Python, Power Shell)
