Tax Associate position in Hantz Group's Family Office in Traverse City, MI. The role is an entry‑level opportunity that works with CPAs, accountants and financial advisors to provide tax planning and preparation services.

Provide strategies to minimize clients' future tax liabilities, monitor ongoing tax situations, develop projections and collaborate with specialists to identify client opportunities.

• Attend meetings and trainings
• Work with the Tax Team to assist in servicing clients
• Comply with all industry rules and regulations
• All other tasks assigned

• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities

• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Ability to obtain Enrolled Agent designation
• Ability to obtain active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
