• Support the mission of Grand Traverse Pavilions by ensuring a high standard of quality care and qualityof life for residents.
• Embrace and support the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) philosophy, striving for continuous improvement in all tasks and systems.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding resident and organizational information.
• Ensure the environmental safetyof the facility, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Meet and assess new residents on admission, ensuring smooth transitions and seamless integration into the community.
• Oversee residents’ medical and nursing needs, ensuring quality care is delivered according to their needs.
• Administer medications and assist with physician visits, phone calls, and medical orders as required.
• Regularly make rounds in assigned areas to monitor residents’ conditions, safety, employee performance, andthe overall functioning of the facility.
• Assist with coordinating residentappointments and overseeing the adult day program.
• Supervise and assist with employee orientation, evaluations, and discipline to ensure compliance with organizational policies and operational guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust employeeassignments based on resident needs and employee experience and competence.
• Provide leadership and ensure acohesive working environment among staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Works in an environment withnoise, frequent interruptions, and exposure to cleaning chemicals anddisinfectants.
• Position requires standing,walking, lifting, bending, and sitting.
• Prescribed dress will beaccording to the organization’s dress code.
• Potentially dangerous equipment is utilized/maintained.
• Flexible hours required,including weekends and holidays to meet organizational needs.

• Graduation from an accreditednursing program.
• Licensed in the State of Michiganas a Registered Nurse or LPN.
• Prior management experience in ahealthcare setting.
• Prior experience in geriatricnursing.
• Strong communication,organizational, and interpersonal skills, including public relations skills.
• Knowledge and acceptance of the Intergenerational and Eden principles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasksand prioritize effectively.
