The Laboratory system architect is responsible for designing and implementing short and long-term strategic goals for managing andmaintaininginformationsystems and software, related to Munson Healthcare’slab oratory business.

They mustassurethat all planned and in-place system architectures are aligned with the specific Laboratory goals and MHCinitiatives. Research new technologies,create plans and deploy systems that will increase cost effectiveness and flexibility

Associate’s degree and 10 years progressively more responsible experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory environment required, or a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years progressively more responsible experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory environment.

At least 3 years of experience dealing with data processing/clinical information systems hardware and software required.

Experience in installing, upgrading, interfacing and maintaining clinical operating systems and system software required.

Proven ability to perform basic programming functions required.

Experience with Cerner Power Chart / integrated system preferred.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
