Description

We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join a growing law firm in Traverse City, Michigan. This role involves providing expert legal guidance in estate planning, Medicaid planning, and probate matters. The ideal candidate will excel at client counseling, document drafting, and independently managing cases, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on asset protection strategies and long-term care planning.

- Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.

- Manage probate cases and oversee trust administration processes.

- Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and discovery materials.

- Represent clients in civil litigation matters with professionalism and expertise.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective solutions for complex legal issues.

- Ensure all legal documentation complies with current regulations and standards.

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process.

- Stay updated on changes in estate planning and Medicaid laws to provide accurate advice.

Requirements - Licensed attorney in the state of Michigan.

- Proven experience in estate planning, probate, and Medicaid planning.

- Strong skills in drafting legal documents, including motions and briefs.

- Knowledge of civil litigation processes and discovery procedures.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
