EssentialResponsibilities
- Perform assembly and testing tasks as directed by Shop Leads, Supervisors, or Operations Management.
- Assemble, fit, align, and adjust hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to meet engineering specifications.
- Set up and operate test stand equipment independently and perform pressure and functional testing.
- Interpret and work from assembly drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Use precision measuring instruments and gauging devices to verify tolerances and quality.
- Identify defects, malfunctions, or quality issues and take corrective action or elevate appropriately.
- Document inspection results, test data, and production records accurately and timely.
- Maintain or exceed established production rates while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Perform light preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties for assigned work areas and equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing operations.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work any assigned shift.
- Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical disciplines.
- Experience with hydraulic assembly or valve testing.
- Experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Monday–Friday; hours vary based on production demand, with occasional weekend work as needed.
- Work performed in a manufacturing/shop environment.
- Exposure to noise, dust, odors, and fumes.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as hoists, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Ability to work at heights using step ladders as needed.
