SummaryResponsible for performing diversified assembly and testing operations on hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards. This role ensures products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements prior to shipment.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties- Perform assembly and testing tasks as directed by Shop Leads, Supervisors, or Operations Management
- Assemble, fit, align, and adjust hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to meet engineering performance specifications
- Set up and operate test stand equipment independently for pressure and functional testing
- Interpret and work from complex assembly drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Use precision measuring instruments and gauging devices to verify tolerances and product quality
- Identify defects, malfunctions, or quality issues and take corrective action or elevate appropriately
- Accurately document inspection results, test data, and production records in required systems
- Maintain or exceed established production rates while ensuring quality standards are met
- Perform light preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties for assigned work areas and equipment
- Support inventory accuracy through proper material handling and documentation
- Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments to ensure workflow continuity
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions per established procedures
- Follow all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision or Management

- Experience with mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing operations

- Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and hydraulics
- Ability to work any assigned shift
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical disciplines
- Experience in hydraulic assembly or valve testing
- Prior experience in a precision manufacturing environment
