Availability:
Full-time. Alternating 3-night and 4-night shifts per week with 10-12 hours per shift and every other weekend, except when additional coverage is needed. Third shift.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full nursing assessment for each admission including, but not limited to, medical and social histories, obtain vital signs, Preliminary Breath Test (PBT); conducts blood glucose level (when indicated), Tuberculosis (Tb) and Urine Drug Screen (UDS) testing.
- Perform an initial screening exam on new/walk-in clients to determine appropriateness for level of care
- Enter and administer all client home medications. Assist with gathering pharmaceutical records when necessary.
- Administer on-site medications, treatments and procedures according to standard nursing practices and Standing Orders provided by ATS Medical Direction.
- Responsible for the security, administration, and book-keeping/recording of controlled substances administered on site.
- May need to perform or assist with wound care or minor soft tissue procedures.
- A client-centered and engaged intake process. Assist with de-escalating clients, as necessary.
- Assist Advanced Practice Provider and/or Medical Director with implementing orders.
- Ensure quality documentation of all patient-related services are completed and maintained.
- Assist in agency compliance and development by keeping current with online agency trainings.
- Occasionally responsible for on-site visits to various agency satellite programs to conduct client scheduled nursing appointments, medication reconciliations, and/or general nursing duties as required/requested.
- Maintains open lines of communication between nursing shifts, as well as other programs, supervisors, physicians and other healthcare providers as indicated.
Education:
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university is required. One year of related SUD or behavioral health experience and/or training is preferred.

CPR/First Aid
Current Licensed LPN or RN in the State of Michigan

Able to traverse stairs and lift up to 20 lbs.
Skills Needed/
Experience:
- Strong compute and data entry skills a must
- Good communication, writing, and charting skills
- EMR experience a plus
- Experience with substance abuse treatment helpful
- Ability to multitask and de-escalate stressful situations
