Job Description
A Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in patient care by providing compassionate support and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities- Perform basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for patients' personal and comfort needs
- Complete personal hygiene
- Collect specimens
- Assist patients with daily walking and exercise
- Transport patients between departments
- Observe, report and record vital signs of the patient
- Obtain and maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times
- May be required to lift more than 35 pounds
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
