IR Registered Nurse in Traverse , MI

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years IR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology or relevant procedural setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in monitoring patients, administering conscious sedation, and responding to emergencies
• Strong IV skills and experience with vascular access
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Experience collaborating with physicians, technologists, and other team members

• Prepare patients for IR procedures, conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments, and provide education regarding interventions
• Monitor vital signs and patient status throughout procedures, promptly identifying and responding to changes
• Administer medications, including intravenous sedatives and analgesics, per protocol and physician direction
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold infection control standards to ensure patient safety
• Assist physicians with technical tasks throughout IR cases, providing support for a variety of vascular and non-vascular interventions
• Document all patient interactions and procedural details accurately and thoroughly
• Engage in post-procedure assessments and contribute to ongoing patient care planning

$2,904 - $3,072/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
