Registered Nurse - PACU

Why work as a RN in PACU at Munson Healthcare?

• Teamwork and support -our multidisciplinary teams include experienced and new graduateRNs, providers, clinicians and support staffwho will help you transition to your new role.
• Provides and pre and post anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients
• Works collaboratively with anesthesia providers
• Perform outpatient and inpatient surgeries, 60-70 cases/day
• Commitment togrowth and development–thousands of educational offerings, leadership development,simulation education and tuition reimbursement.

What’s

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
• Experience caring for adult surgical patients within the last 3 years preferred.
• BCLS, and ACLS, required upon hire, PALS within 6 months of hire.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
