Purpose and function of job:
The Vendor works under the supervision of the Food and Beverage Supervisor and Food and Beverage Manager providing prompt, excellent food and beverage service to customers and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. The Vendor performs all job tasks in compliance with the philosophy, policies, goals, and budget of Traverse City Baseball, Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
- Takes customer orders, collects payment, and serves the product.
- Walks throughout crowds carrying and selling food/drink items
- May partake in alcohol sales which includes checking ids, pouring alcohol and serving alcohol
- Be aware and offers assistance to guests as needed.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of menu items and knowledge of all ballpark concession products.
- Keeps work area clean and organized throughout the event.
- Keep track of methods of payments and cash bag
- Complete closing duties such as cleaning, washing dishes, sweeping floor and mopping.
- Organize the kitchen and storage rooms, keeping it clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
Type of prior related experience:
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong presentation of customer service skills
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable running a POS system
- Ability to work non-traditional hours and remain flexible. Holidays and weekends as needed.
- Ability to stand up for 3+ hours at a time.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions.
- Project a positive image to internal (employees) and external (fans) customers.
Education level:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 15+ eligible to serve food and non-alcoholic beverages
