Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. They intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
- Keep a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
- Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, and use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business or client needs.

QualificationsEducation / Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred.

Skills:
Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands: The associate will regularly be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully loaded with appliances, supplies, and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming required; specific retailer dress‑code requirements are included in the training documents.
