Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Merchandiser is responsible for timely stocking and product handling of all GLWAS merchandise shipped to assigned retail store accounts. This position works with store‑level personnel to ensure effective placement of shelf products and in‑store displays, assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and locations. The Merchandiser must demonstrate a professional demeanor by dressing and grooming appropriately, keeping the vehicle clean and organized, and maintaining adequate P.O.S. and other sales materials.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Building displays
- Managing GLWAS product conditions within the store
- Working with GLWAS District Managers and Area Managers to address product out‑of‑stock situations
- Managing territory
- Running the workday according to the plan
- Maintaining and using reports, forms, and pre‑plans
- Communicating on a daily basis with the Manager
This is a part‑time position working up to 29 hours per week with daytime hours varying by schedule Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.
Work Environment & Physical DemandsThe position operates in the field with daily travel, driving in all weather conditions. Physical demands require frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and climbing throughout the day. Lifting, stacking, moving, and rotating items without handles that weigh up to 50 pounds is required. Pushing and pulling carts with up to 100 pounds of force and operating warehouse equipment may also be needed.

- High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
- Basic competency with iOS devices
- 2 years sales experience (preferred)
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules
- Cooperate with all management and staff of GLWAS
- Follow all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position
- Use alcohol responsibly when related to business activities
