Sales Development Rep/SDR
Trauma Sales Associate | Northern Michigan
If you’re looking for a role that’s closer to true sales than a typical associate position—but still gives you the clinical credibility required to win long‑term in trauma—this is it.
This is the entry point to a trauma sales career. You’ll be in the OR, supporting cases, building relationships with surgeons and hospital teams, learning the portfolio, and developing the habits that separate good reps from great ones: preparation, reliability, urgency, and follow‑through.
What you’ll do (and why it matters):- Provide in‑case trauma coverage across multiple hospitals and physicians—earning trust by being prepared, calm, and dependable when it counts
- Stay closely connected to the weekly surgical schedule so you’re proactive, not reactive
- Accurately load and manage cases in the Surgical Management System (SMS)—because execution builds credibility
- Support after‑hours, on‑call trauma cases, including revisions and complex procedures
- Trauma isn’t 9–5. Being available when emergencies happen is part of the role—and where reputations are built
- Assist with running implants and instruments and keeping inventory clean and compliant so teams have what they need, every time
- Partner weekly with Operations to stay aligned and ready—strong sales performance starts with strong ops collaboration
- Attend product trainings and quarterly sales meetings to build the foundation needed to eventually own coverage and grow business
Someone with sales energy and clinical curiosity who wants to earn credibility the right way—by showing up, learning fast, and becoming the person surgeons trust in high‑pressure moments. You like staying busy, you take ownership, and you understand that effort and availability translate into opportunity in trauma.
The reality (and the opportunity):This role includes on‑call responsibilities and unpredictable hours at times—but it also offers unmatched exposure, accelerated learning, and a clear path forward in trauma sales for those who lean in.
If you’re looking for a role that challenges you, develops you, and puts you in the middle of meaningful work—this is it.
Base Salary: $55K–$75K (+ opportunities for commission)
