As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining complex irrigation systems, diagnosing and repairing irrigation components, and ensuring efficient water management and safety. Responsibilities
- Install and repair POLY, PVC, copper, and irrigation fittings.
- Operate pipe pullers, trenchers, wire trackers, and other irrigation equipment.
- Maintain clean and organized work vehicles and job sites.
- Train and mentor crew members in safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in irrigation installation and maintenance or general construction.
- Ability to read landscape installation designs and job planners.
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive at work on time daily.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, bend, and kneel without physical restrictions..
- Learn and consistently use OMA's time and production app for time and job tracking.
- Complete assigned skill development courses on OMA's learning platform in a timely manner.
- Michigan Chauffeur’s License in good standing.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in irrigation and/or low voltage landscape lighting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
- Performance Bonus: Up to $4,000 annually.
- Paid Time Off: 80 hours per year
- Full-Time Employee Benefits:
- Paid Holidays: Six per year.
