Lead Residential HVAC Installer
Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems
Traverse City, MI
Full‑time | Residential HVAC Installation
Expected Annual Earnings: $65,000‑$100,000+ based on experience and performance
Responsibilities- Oversee residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini‑split systems, boilers, ductwork, and related comfort equipment.
- Review installation plans and blueprints before each project.
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities, troubleshoot installation challenges, and perform equipment startups.
- Verify system operation to meet manufacturer specifications, local code, and company expectations.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor installers, and reinforce safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional jobsite and meet schedules and labor expectations.
- Serve as a representative of Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems to homeowners, builders, project managers, and team members.
- At least five years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Proven ability to lead projects in the field.
- EPA Certification required;
Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred; NATE Certification a plus. - Expertise reading blueprints, interpreting specifications, troubleshooting field issues, and independently managing projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
