Field Service Technician - Michigan

Job Overview

The Water System Field Service Technician at Kinetico installs, services, repairs, and sells Kinetico residential water systems. The position requires 100% local travel within target geographies.

• Learn residential water system applications and capabilities.
• Follow established procedures to evaluate water system equipment and perform appropriate maintenance.
• Identify and act upon sales opportunities.
• Deliver salt, filters, and other water treatment products to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including company vehicle and tools.
• Monitor and restock product inventory.
• Complete field visit reports and submit them to the service department promptly.
• Other duties as directed within the scope of the role.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Plumbing experience and skills preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, show initiative, and self-motivate.
• Strong work ethic, goal-oriented, and proactive.
• Mechanical aptitude, analytical problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.
• Customer-centric focus with ability to adjust priorities as needed.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and phone communication skills.
• Organized and able to follow company processes and procedures.
• Proficient in common software (Word, Excel) and familiar with data entry systems.
• Willingness to help others and a commitment to timely and efficient execution.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and reaching.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50lb and maneuvering up to 100lb with a dolly.
• Frequent exposure to oil and noise.
