Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled HVAC Retrofit Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on upgrading and replacing existing HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Our retrofit technicians take pride in problem-solving, improving system performance, and helping customers maximize comfort and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Remove and replace existing HVAC systems and equipment
- Install heating and cooling system upgrades in residential and commercial buildings
- Modify ductwork, piping, and system components as needed
- Ensure systems operate at maximum efficiency and performance
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve field issues
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including materials, labor, and project updates
- Work independently while maintaining company quality standards
- Use tools, materials, and equipment responsibly and safely
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site protocols
- 3+ years of HVAC installation or retrofit experience preferred
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and retrofit applications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic construction practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum age of 18 required
