Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Traverse City, MI

$20/hr

9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Perform inspections for damage, defects, and compliance with specifications.
• Unload/load pallets and stage shipments for processing.
• Prepare, pack, and label outbound orders; generate shipping documentation and freight carrier manifests.
• Schedule freight carrier pickups and track shipments until delivery confirmation.

• 3-5 years in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control roles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent - Preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and frequent standing/walking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
