Explosives Engineering Technician

Delta-V Energetics, a leader in energetics and explosives testing, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to support testing, product development, and manufacturing of explosive materials. You'll work with advanced equipment and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to safety and innovation.

• Safely handle and prepare energetic and explosive materials.
• Execute detailed test procedures and analyze results.
• Interpret drawings and specifications.
• Operate data acquisition systems and high-speed cameras.
• Fabricate and implement test equipment apparatus.
• Operate heavy equipment (telehandler, boom lift, crane).
• Participate in rock blasting operations.

• Ability to qualify for an ATF “Employee Possessor” designation.
• Disciplined in following detailed instructions and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in welding (mig, stick), wood framing, and fabrication.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
• Experience with high-speed photography/video (Phantom V2512).
• Experience in handling and arming ordnance.
• FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot certification.
• Experience with installation and operation of low voltage instrumentation (pressure transducers, thermocouples, accelerometers)
• Machining proficiency with mill and lathe.

• Associate degree in a technical field or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
