Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Tremonton, UT
Shift: 1st
Starting Base Hourly Wage: $20.25 per hour
Shift Premium: $1.50
Job SummaryWarehouse Operator is responsible for operating the powered industrial truck and forklift to move product, equipment, or materials.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely.
- Responsible for pre-operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift.
- Operate a scanner and learn the required transaction process.
- Responsible for picking both fresh and frozen products.
- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation.
- Maintenance and good housekeeping duties.
- Responsible for cooler and freezer operations.
- Repair and sort pallets as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck and/or forklift.
- Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsor ships are available.
- Certification: Must be able to become certified on operating equipment including powered industrial trucks and forklift.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Skills: Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math. Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Must have good attention to detail.
- Physical Abilities:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
- Environmental: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions including cold temperatures.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
- Compliance: Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
