** About the Role
** The Safety Manager will lead and continuously improve the company-wide safety program, ensuring compliance with MIOSHA, OSHA, and applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead safety program development and continuous improvement
* Conduct jobsite inspections and audits
* Partner with field teams to promote safe practices
* Maintain safety documentation and SDS/MSDS
* Oversee PPE and fall protection systems
* Develop site-specific safety and emergency plans
* Support estimating and bidding with safety requirements
* Lead JSAs and toolbox talks
* Identify and mitigate hazards
* Track certifications and compliance
* Coordinate safety training initiatives
** Qualifications
* ** Experience in construction safety or related field
* Strong knowledge of MIOSHA and OSHA
* Experience with safety programs and audits
* Strong communication skills
* Company will support certification attainment (OSHA, HAZWOPER, etc.)
** Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
*** Outdoor work in varying weather
* Walking and standing on uneven terrain
* Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
* Travel between job sites required
** Schedule
* ** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Occasional Saturdays
