In this General Laborer role with our aerospace manufacturing company, you operate and maintain presses to stamp, form, and shape metal components with accuracy and consistency. You perform sheet metal fabrication, making precise cuts, bends, and finishes to meet exact requirements. Throughout the day, you handle saw cutting operations to prepare materials for production and execute EDM machining to create intricate, precision‑cut components.
You carefully assemble parts so they fit and align properly, ensuring quality at every step, and you inspect finished products to make sure they meet strict aerospace specifications. All the while, you follow safety protocols and keep your workspace clean and organized so you and your team can work efficiently and safely.
- Hands‑on experience with press operations, sheet metal work, saw cutting, and EDM machining
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Skilled in using micrometers, gauges, and calipers
- Comfortable working with heavy machinery and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Team‑oriented mindset and commitment to safety
