Physician Assistant​/Internal Medicine​/Michigan​/Locum Tenens​/Physician Assistant in Family Medicine

An established practice in Trenton, MI is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their family medicine team. This will be a full-time role with a Monday-Friday schedule. NO weekend requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time schedule (Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm)
• Conduct a comprehensive health assessment with head-to-toe physical exam
• Address all health conditions with recommendation on care plan
• Reconcile medication list, review and update pertinent history
• Order lab and preventative screening tests
• Review and communicate test results with patients
• Provide wellness and disease management education to patients
• Complete documentation timely and accurately
• Provide patients with excellent visit experience

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan State License
• Ideally two years of family medicine/primary care/internal medicine experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (EMR)
