Accounting Support Lead (Accounting Operations)

Gotham Technology Group is a well-established technology consulting firm with long-standing client relationships and a reputation for operational excellence. We are hiring an Operations Lead to serve as a hands-on, trusted partner within our Accounting and Operations function.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who enjoys owning critical processes, improving how work gets done, and being the go-to resource for day-to-day accounting operations. You will work closely with Accounting leadership and have real visibility into the business.

• Act as a subject-matter resource for AP, AR, and account reconciliations
• Support an ERP migration and other internal operational projects
• Process and review AP invoices, support payment runs, and resolve discrepancies
• Support invoicing, cash application, AR aging, and customer account issues
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly bank and cash reconciliations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• 4–7+ years of hands-on experience across AP, AR, and reconciliations
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and close processes
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and payroll platforms such as ADP
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
