POSITION SUMMARYThe Staff Accountant serves as the liaison between the branch(s) and the Association office with regard to accounts payable, accounts receivable and the administration of the membership database i.e. Daxko.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Experience with accounting systems/ERP platforms
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience in nonprofit or multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with internal controls and audit processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Accountability and ownership mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and effective collaboration skills
- Knowledge and skills in technology
