In this hybrid position, you'll play a key role in leading the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and partnering with senior leadership to support strategic business initiatives. What You'll Do- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports.
- Research and apply technical accounting guidance while ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee internal controls and coordinate internal and external audits to maintain regulatory and financial compliance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with finance, operations, and business leaders to provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and solve complex accounting challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, internal controls, and manufacturing or distribution accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP experience required; SAP experience is a plus.
- Proven leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
