Senior Accountant​/Accounting Manager - Construction

Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant - Up to $110k + bonus + NO COST health benefits

Our client, a well-established construction company, is seeking an Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant to oversee all accounting and financial operations. This is a hands‑on opportunity for an accounting professional to take ownership of the full accounting function and partner closely with company leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong construction accounting experience, including job costing, certified payroll, and union reporting, and be comfortable working independently in a small company environment.

100% Onsite with flex

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and cash flow management
• Maintain job costing, WIP reporting, project profitability, and construction-related financial analysis
• Process weekly payroll and manage certified payroll, union reporting, and compliance requirements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, tax preparation, audits, and other financial reporting needs
• Partner with project teams and leadership on financial insights and operational decisions

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting
• Experience with certified payroll, prevailing wage, and union reporting required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a hands‑on accounting role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
