Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper who doesn't just enter numbers-you understand why the numbers matter.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting and can confidently work with debits and credits, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies before they become problems. Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities

+ Record and post journal entries accurately

+ Maintain the general ledger

+ Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

+ Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

+ Assist with month-end close

+ Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies

+ Support the accounting team with reporting and special projects

Requirements

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits

+ Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience

+ Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

+ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

+ Self-motivated and able to work independently

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
