Calling all public accountants - Make the pivot into corporate before another busy season begins.
Working with a leading manufacturing company based out of Morris County, NJ (hybrid schedule). No more 70-90+ hour work weeks….Excellent work/life balance with competitive pay & benefits. Seeking either Staff (1-3 years) or Senior (3-5 years) Accountant.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closes.
- Create financial reports from trial balance.
- Prepare and provide account analysis of general ledger accounts.
- Assist in preparing schedules for public company filings (10-Q and 10-K).
- Assist with the coordination of the annual audit.
- Prepare monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Ensure SOX compliance is met.
- Perform ad-hoc research and financial analysis for management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. MBA or CPA a plus
- 2-4 years public accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
- Up-to-date with current GAAP accounting standards
