Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Location:
New Brunswick/Somerset, NJ
Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 + discretionary annual bonus + complete benefits package
Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our pharmaceutical team in New Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support administrative functions, and maintain an organized and efficient office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and familiarity with office management in a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee inventory of office supplies and liaise with procurement for replenishment.
- Assist with HR and finance administrative tasks (e.g., onboarding paperwork, expense reports).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in documentation and record-keeping.
- Support senior management with travel arrangements and calendar management.
- Handle incoming calls and emails professionally, directing inquiries as appropriate.
- Must be able to commute to the office 5 days per week.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years in office administration, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or document management tools.
- Knowledge of FDA or GMP compliance standards is a plus.
