BG Staffing is seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant with prior property management experience to support day-to-day office operations at a busy property management office in Trenton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience working in the property management industry.

Position Details
  • Role: Administrative Assistant
  • Location: Trenton, NJ 08610
  • Pay: $20/hr.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to property management staff and site operations.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and resident inquiries.
  • Assist with processing work orders, maintenance requests, and service follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate resident files, leases, and property records.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, notices, and other office documents.
  • Assist with move-in and move-out documentation and resident communications.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, inspections, and vendor visits.
  • Process and track invoices, purchase orders, and office paperwork.
  • Support rent collection processes and maintain payment records as needed.
  • Ensure office organization and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience in property management, multifamily housing, or real estate required.
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with property management software is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and resident relations experience.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
