Director of Business Development

Overview

Lead Candidate are partnering with a global leader in API manufacturing and provider of CDMO services to the pharma industry as they seek a Director of Business Development. This is an opportunity to join a driven commercial team with a high performance culture. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of professional business development experience to this hunter role based on the East Coast.

• Identify and develop opportunities with prospects and targets.
• Use proven ability to build and nurture relationships with new and current customers.
• Execute strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Maintain detailed reports and manage CRM tools
• Stay on top of market trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape.
• Represent the organization at major industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network with industry leaders.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing services.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
