dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in the go-to-market strategy,

cross-functional collaboration, marketing, sales support, and product performance monitoring for

the Innovation sector of our retail product line. You will work closely with cross-functional teams

including Sales, Marketing, Service, and Operations to deliver high-quality products that meet

customer needs and business goals. While this Product Manager position focuses on Innovation,

ESL, AiO and our software tied to said products, via cross-training you will also be responsible for

other DIGI products such as Wrappers and Scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a key member of the product team the Product Manager will provide market research and analysis, pre-sales analysis, design, and recommendations for customer implementation.
  • Support our Sales team by relaying knowledge of our products to create documentation and guides for our product listings.
  • Continued support of our Sales team by traveling to visit with prospects and customers, customer-facing with excellent communication skills in order to present functionality, benefits, and technical specifications of this product line.
  • Work with our parent company to test and maintain images, files, documentation and knowledgebase articles, in addition to providing feedback on food industry products.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of Innovation, Scale and Wrapper products software releases.
  • Present and train our sales team members and new employees via onboarding of each product, including testing of each team member.
  • Update and modify training material for all Innovation related products, including testing questionnaires and open-ended questions.
  • The Product Manager works to support connectivity between our customers’ business needs and to ensure our products meet these needs to deliver value.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to Innovation related equipment.
  • Identify market opportunities and competitive landscape trends to influence product direction and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure product messaging, positioning, and customer experience are aligned.
  • Engage with customers to understand pain points, needs, and usage patterns through interviews, surveys, and data analysis. Use this information to relay features and improvements back to our parent company.
  • Support our Service team to deliver successful customer installations with troubleshooting on-site and remotely as needed.
  • Being the company product expert through speaking engagements and article creation.
Basic Qualifications
  • Flexibility to regularly rotate through different technical specialist and skill sets.
  • Ability to thrive on change as products evolve
  • The ability to communicate with differing business units from executive level to end users.
  • Knowledge of PC and/or embedded based systems
  • Knowledge of Networking, WiFi, and TCP/IP protocols
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills
  • Travel as required to support sales team with addressable market and customer visits up to 40%
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Product Management, Information technology, or other related field
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, strategic, and analytical abilities with strong presentation skills
  • Must be able to work in an environment requiring extensive telephone and computer work
  • and be able to handle multiple issues simultaneously
  • Extensive background in creating market and competitor analysis
  • Drive to dig into how a system operates and desire to learn how to manipulate how hardware and software works. Problem solving aptitude
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and self-improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
