Superintendent, Construction

A well-established design-build construction firm is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead commercial interior construction projects throughout New Jersey and New York City.

This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong pipeline of corporate interiors, tenant improvement, renovation and fit-out projects. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while working closely with clients, subcontractors and project management teams.

• Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilisation through project completion.
• Lead subcontractors and field teams to maintain safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Coordinate schedules, logistics and site sequencing to ensure projects remain on track.
• Conduct daily site inspections and proactively resolve field issues.
• Work closely with project managers, clients, architects and consultants.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with all company, client and regulatory safety requirements.
• Successfully execute projects within active and occupied environments while minimising disruption to operations.

• Must be local to New Jersey with the ability to work regularly throughout NJ and NYC

• 10+ years of experience managing interior construction projects.
• Strong experience delivering:
  • Commercial interiors
  • Tenant improvements
  • Corporate office fit-outs
  • Renovation projects
• Deep understanding of interior build-out scope within both active and occupied environments
  .
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex construction activities.
• Strong organisational, scheduling and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
