Salary & Compensation

Pay Range: $77,230.40 – $ per annum (full‑time equivalent, 1.0 FTE). Actual compensation may vary based on assigned hours and position status.

Hours:

40 hours.

Successfully implements each specified project to contract and delivers on‑time and within budget. Manages and coordinates responsibilities to ensure that all work meets client and statutory requirements, taking projects from inception through to completion and managing all third parties involved. Facilitates project development, implementation, and contractor/vendor coordination. Develops, maintains, and applies standardized criteria for space requirements, furniture/fixtures/equipment, and finishes. Negociates price and availability of products and services and coordinates activities/projects of tenant/landlord relations.

• Education:
  
  Associate's degree with two years construction/renovation project development, estimating, and management experience.
• Experience:
  
  In lieu of degree, three years construction/renovation project development, estimating, and management experience.
• Other Credentials:
  Driver's License.
• Knowledge and
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent organizational, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with schematic drawings and designs.
• Special Training:
  Working knowledge of computer spreadsheet, word processing, data entry applications, and standard office tools.
• Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities:
  Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Usual Work Day: 8 hours.

• Develop scope of work and space planning for proposed projects.
• Develop estimates and budgets for review with department Sr. Manager, Director, and other staff members and stakeholders.
• Exercise discretion and judgment when reviewing and evaluating project components with end‑users, contractors, and other design professionals and prepare recommendations based upon information gathered.
• Coordinate staging of projects, including schedule for relocation of staff, furniture, and equipment, and supervise implementation of project specifications, monitoring schedules and performance of work to ensure activities are performed efficiently.
• Prepare end‑of‑project reports to evaluate budget and schedule timely and accurately.
• Research and revise criteria based on experience, professional standards, and user needs; develop specifications for evaluation, selection, purchase, and installation of furniture and finishes.
• Prepare timely requests for proposals, job estimates, and purchase orders; make recommendations for vendors/contractors.
• Place timely orders with vendors, suppliers, and contractors; review invoices for proper charges and resolve discrepancies with CH accounts payable.
• Assess potential properties for most appropriate use and viability to identify construction issues and risks.
• Coordinate work order requests with maintenance departments or vendors to respond to end‑user and/or tenant requests.
