Currently announcing a vacancy for an Associate Director for Communications/Editor in the Division of Communications.
Job SummaryDirectly responsible to the Director of the Communications Division for the production and maintenance of NJEA's primary member communication vehicles, including the New Jersey Education Association Review, njea.org and other publications or platforms as assigned that may be utilized by NJEA to communicate with members and the public.
Essential FunctionsA candidate should possess a high degree of intelligence and creativity; should be an excellent writer able to translate complex ideas into clear, simple prose; should be able to edit the writing of others; should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-based environment; should be able to learn new skills quickly and enthusiastically; should be able to adapt readily to technological change;
and should understand the mission, purpose and goals of the New Jersey Education Association.
Starting Salary: 123,497
