Graphic Designer
Compo Secure is seeking a skilled Graphics & Design Specialist to support the prototype and production-proofing workflow for client accounts from its Somerset, NJ site. The role emphasizes refining designs for client and card association approvals using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and delivering production-ready files for printing, die making, and etching through collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with the Client Product Engineer, Project Managers, and the VP of Technical Sales to ensure proofs progress on time for customer presentations and internal reviews.

Location: Somerset, NJ (onsite)
Salary: USD 26 - 33 per hourly
Role FocusThe position centers on graphic design tasks involved in the prototype and production order proofing process for client accounts, including making changes for client and card association approvals using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Daily collaboration with the Client Product Engineer, Project Managers, and the VP of Technical Sales ensures concept proofs and actual proofs are completed promptly for customer presentations and internal reviews, while producing production files for printing, die making, and etching.
Responsibilities- Modify designs to develop concept proofs for client presentations
- Update designs to secure customer and card association approvals
- Develop and proof final designs for customer and card association approvals
- Prepare production-ready files for external printing, die making, and etching vendors
- Prepare all production files for internal operations team
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant design experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of printing processes and file creation for print, including color trapping and color relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work
- Strong time management skills
- Task-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
