Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine/Infectious Diseases
Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School is seeking a full‑time Infectious Diseases physician and physician scientist to join the Division of Infectious Diseases and/or the Public Health Research Institute. The position includes patient care, teaching, research, and scholarship. Research support is available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients with infectious diseases.
- Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Conduct translational research and secure external funding.
- Collaborate with colleagues and patients and contribute to academic medicine.
Qualifications
- MD or DO.
- Board certified/board eligible in Infectious Diseases.
- Experience or commitment to growing a translational research program.
